I did all my primary and secondary education in this city. I completed primary education at School number 24, "Juan Ruìz Galàn", which is located ten streets near my parent's house.
I did my secondary studies at Colegio Tècnico Provincial "Olga B. de Arco" which is a technical school where I receibed a certificate with an orientation in Information Technologies.
Regarding higher education, I first left Ushuaia when I was 17 years old and I went with a friend to Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, where I wanted to study Psychology. I wasn`t ready for that challenge, so I couldn`t pass the entry exam. However, I wanted a second chance so I entered another career in the same place where I could do the same subjects for the Psychology entry during the year. I did half year of Trabajo Social, and I realized it wasn`t what I wanted as a carreer. It was high time to come back to Ushuaia. When I came back here I was 18 already.
At secondary level I was good at English, and I also studied at a private institution, at the well known "Portland Institute", so that to be able to use the language in such a tourist city as Ushuaia. Therefore, I got a job, gain enough money and pack my things again but this time to Cordoba's city, with a cousin who also wanted to study there. In Cordoba I began the Teaching Training at Universidad Nacional de Còrdoba.
Five years later, I left the career because of personal reasons.
Once in Ushuaia I got several jobs. I tried to continue studying at Instituto Provincial de Educaciòn Superior, where their curriculum was not equivalent to the university one, so that the subjects I did at Facultad de Lenguas were useless.
A year and a half later I began my studies at Lenguas Vivas, where I had the chance to equate the subjects and continue with the career.
During the last three years I've been teaching English in public and private institutions to students of all ages. It's been difficult to me to start from scratch in the teaching world, but I've got a great experienece, and I'm sure I learn something new every single day. Now that I'm finishing the training course I believe I can give my best in front of a classroom without hesitation and even with more tools and expirience than ever.
Hope you enjoy this blog,
A hug...
